Market Exploring

I can't believe it has been almost 2 weeks since I last posted! Doesn't time fly! I don't even know where the time has gone but I have just been frantically trying to get my portfolio ready for applying to uni and starting to get ready for the approaching Christmas season. Hopefully I will get the time to put up some holiday posts soon ready for the festive season.

However, today I thought I would make a post about something I often mention: markets. Like the new highly-covered hobby of 'thrifting', marketing is similar in the way you are able to find unique one-ff pieces no one else owns. I love going to markets and picking up vintage or handmade pieces to mix with pieces from high street shops to make a completely unique outfit. The best thing is, there are markets almost everywhere, that sell anything and everything you could think of.
This market I visited on my trip to Prague mainly sold local produce such as flowers and groceries as well as handmade goods from around Eastern Europe.

I ended up buying a cup and saucer from this stall. It's always important to come with an open mind, so I think I might even grow a plant in it as a decoration piece.

Wrapping Up

Now that Scotland has had its first snow, its is official that Winter is on it's way! Before its time to wrap up the presents for under the tree, it is time to wrap up warm, so we are not freezing in the cold climate. One of the best things about cold weather, is layering. I am a big fan of warm, furry jackets and woolly hats, and I paired my new Nasty Gal jacket with a leather skirt and scale print top. I always feel when fall comes around my style steers away from your typical girly girl style, and I feel this outfit still contains my girly style but with an edgy twist.
